Gunship Overwatch — Privacy Policy
Playita Ventures · Effective 30 October 2026
Gunship Overwatch (the "app") is made and published by Playita Ventures ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with information. The short version: the app collects nothing about you, and the only money that changes hands goes through Apple.
1. Information we collect
None. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party software development kits. It does not collect, store or transmit your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, device identifiers or usage data to us or to anyone else.
2. What stays on your device
Your campaign progress, armory upgrades, settings, and a record of what you have purchased are saved only on your device, in the app's own storage. We cannot see them. They are removed when you delete the app, and they are included in your device backup if you have iCloud or computer backups turned on.
3. In-app purchases
Gunship Overwatch is free to download and offers optional paid add-ons. Every purchase is made through Apple's App Store using your Apple Account, and Apple processes the payment under its own terms and privacy policy. We never see your card number, billing address or Apple Account password.
What we receive. When you buy something, Apple sends the app a signed confirmation that names the product and the transaction. The app uses it to unlock what you bought and keeps that record on your device. It does not include your name or payment details.
Kinds of purchases.
- One-time unlocks (non-consumable): Commander, All Theaters, the Air Power bundle, and early unlocks of individual support units and special weapons. Buy once, keep for good on every device signed in to the same Apple Account.
- Consumables: the Starter Pack (available once per player) and the Supply Drop (up to three a day). These are used up when bought and are not restored.
- There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.
Everything sold can also be earned by playing. Purchases only get it sooner. Supply crates are earned only and are never sold.
Restoring purchases. Store › Restore Purchases asks Apple for the purchase history of the Apple Account signed in to the App Store and unlocks your one-time purchases again. This is the only time the app asks Apple about you, and the answer is kept on your device.
Family Sharing. Purchases are not shared through Family Sharing. Each one belongs to the Apple Account that bought it.
Refunds. Refunds are handled entirely by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue, approve or deny refunds ourselves.
Prices are shown in your local currency before you confirm and are set from Apple's price tiers. They may change; the price you see at the moment of purchase is the one you pay.
4. Network use
The app makes no network connections of its own. The only network activity is Apple's App Store service for purchases and for restoring purchases.
5. Diagnostics shared by Apple
If you have chosen in iOS Settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may send us anonymized crash reports and performance statistics about the app. These contain no personal information and we use them only to fix bugs. You can turn this off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
6. Children
The App Store rates Gunship Overwatch for older players because of its realistic military violence. It is not directed at children and, since it collects nothing, it does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 or any other age.
7. Your choices and rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for you to access, correct, export or delete on our side. Your progress and purchase record live on your device and are yours to delete at any time by deleting the app. Purchase records held by Apple are subject to Apple's policies and your Apple Account settings.
8. Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app ever collects information, this policy will be updated first, the effective date above will change, and the change will be described in the app's release notes on the App Store.
